Large areas of our Hörner Mountain region are only accessible on touring skis or snowshoes during the winter. Explore an untouched winter wonderland in the company of one of our expert snowshoe hiking guides. Guided snowshoe hikes are offered at each of our five communities all through the winter.

The newly created Snowshoe Park Oberallgäu near Schweineberg in Ofterschwang offers various snowshoe hiking tours for all fitness levels. You will also have an opportunity to learn about the techniques and skills of the Inuit at an Igloo Camp & Husky Workshop, where you will also build your very own igloo. Dog sledding with a team of Huskies is part of the programme, as is the extraordinary night you will spend in your self-built igloo - unforgettable experiences that will round off this very special winter highlight.
