Just ahead of the first snowfall of each year, around 1,400 heads of cattle make their way down the mountains to one of the largest ‘Viehscheid’ events in the Allgäu region. Other attractions include the 300 metres (985 feet) deep Sturmannshöhle Cave and the Alpine Wildlife Park.
