The Fischinger Heimathaus with FIS Skimuseum is housed in a typical Allgäu farmhouse. It has all the characteristic features of the Allgäu countryside house and is therefore predestined for accommodating the museum.

The so-called "Gschwenderhaus" had a careful restoration and proved suitable as a museum through the historic preservation by luck. Lovingly objects and vehicles of the "old" Fischen were collected and housed.

FIS Ski Museum
The FIS Ski Museum (one of 13 ski museums with this award in Europe) in the same house shows an amazing variety of exhibits from the history of the alpine, Nordic ski and other winter sports - an absolute highlight.

Exhibited are especially jumping skis from 1925 to today and ice sticks and skates from the past have found a good place here. The ski workshop shows utensils of all kinds for the construction and repair of skis. For more information, please contact the Fischinger FIS Ski Museum directly.
