In the Hörnerdörfern there is a Snowshoe-Park in the picturesque village of Schweineberg in Ofterschwang. Surrounded by the mountain ranges of the Allgäu Alps in the south and the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park in the west, it is located in the upper Iller valley on a hiking plateau - the starting point for gentle snow-shoeing trips. In front of a backdrop of white mountain peaks and romantic snow-covered winter forests, the routes start and can be handled by every normal hiker. The short tours for beginners every Saturday and Sunday (during the holidays daily) offer a magnificent view into the mountains and the Illertal. The natural landscape of Ofterschwang is particularly impressive with romantic torch tours and the splendid sunrise and sunset tours.
