Alpine Dairy Hüttenberg

The Alpine Dairy in Hüttenberg is renowned for its delicious alpine mountain cheese, as well as for its yoghurt, butter, fresh cheese, etc. The little shop also offers tasty sausages from the butcher as well as homemade products from the herb farm are available here.

The local milk famers and their families work with a lot of idealism and love, ensuring the high quality raw product for a delicious cheese: the tasty alpine milk!

The sun and the rain lets the succulent alpine herbs sprout in a great variety, and the typical alpien cattle, which has been cherished all over the world, turns these healthy herbs into the best of hay milk.

And on top of it all, you need expert cheesemakers, who love their craftsmanship. This combination makes the Hüttenberger cheese so unique! All cheese varieties are full of healthy alpine hay milk, free of genetic engineering and many of are actually lactose free. Even the Ice Cream Parlour in Ofterschwang uses hay milk from this dairy for their splendid ice creams.

  • tasty meat products such as smoked sausages and Bavarian meat loaf  form the butchery aswell as homemade products such as herb salts, jams and syrup from the herb farm are offered in the little shop.

  • Sunday and public holidays: 17:00 - 19:00 o'clock
